What is it?
A Colourclock is a type of clock, from which you cannot read time or learn how to do this. What is it meant for?
It's a handy tool which enables children to learn how to work independently. The dial is divided in fixed amounts of time, corresponding with bright colours. E.g. yellow represents of period of 20 minutes and light blue corresponds with 10 minutes.
The Colourclock has only got one hand. Each time you want your child to work independently, you tell him or her which colour to watch carefully. E.g. You can use the computer for 15 minutes now, so the orange block is the one to watch'. Put the hand at the starting line of the orange block, and the hand just runs like on a regular clock. As time passes by , the child is able to keep an eye on the coloured block. As soon as the next colour has been reached, the child knows the time is over.
